![]() Tails, Knuckles, and Amy should have been playable. I feel like there was supposed to be more and it just didn't happen rushed? Like the final boss was just the first boss with new things and the final cutscene felt like it was building up to like a secret true final boss but instead we just blew up a meteor and Sage died. The stupid bridge mission on Chaos Island was annoying as fuck!!!!!ĭid anyone else feel that the ending was kinda. I loved this game!!!! But I have three things I want to mention. But I won't lie, it feels good to hear the Sonic cast talking with good dialogue. You can feel that Flynn, Kishimoto and Ootsu wanted to tell a bigger story, but some circumstances hold them back to do so. I who guided you came from? I really like this game, but I wished it stayed longer in development to answer those questions. How Eggman got out of cyberspace? Where that A. There are several questions open and several of them aren't answered. I also wished Sonic's cyber corruption was more explored, rather than being shown through idle animations and a few cutscenes. I also really don't like how Sonic doesn't really care about her ''death''. What is this entity? What do they want other than destruction? I like Sage and I wish they did more with her. Where they went? Cyberspace? How they came back? Also, I thought the story's villain (The End) was highly underdeveloped. I felt the story loses steam the moment Sonic's friends are able to cure Sonic's cyber corruption, by just holding hands around him. ![]() I'm actually curious as to what they will do with his character from now on since it will be hard to see him as a straight up villain from now on.Īll in all this was a good game and I really want to see Sega do more with this foundation to refine it and make something better. Shit.Eggman by himself is actually super interesting if you listen to the memos in the fishing minigame. Not to mention Eggman and new character Sage are a treat to watch together. It was refreshing hearing characters talk about past experiences and their desires for the future because I've played all those games and I feel like I was being acknowledged for being there. I never thought that cast of Sonic could be so melancholic and reflective. On the other hand the story was Top notch. Also the game is kinda of a joke once you realize you can skip like 80% of it if you play the fishing minigame. I loved zipping through the islands towards my next destination (except for the 3rd island cuz all of the rails and forced 2D segments kept making me lose track of where I was), but I hated most of the mandatory mini games (the pinball section, the game where you had to collect all the junk, the skydiving segment for the bridge) and the final boss is just odd since it has nothing to do with the core gameplay(also the fact that you have to play on hard to fight it is whack). I can't count how many times I uttered to myself who thought this was a good idea. I love Sonic, but this has to be one of the most jarring videogames I have ever played in my life.
